BUDDING entrepreneurs
After the success of last week's lemonade stand, the Branches campers were eager for a new project. They decided that this week the link needed an ICE CREAM stand!
Campers worked with counselors to calculate their new budget based on revenue and expenses from last week. They discussed and planned the new supplies needed for the ice cream stand, then decided how much to charge.
After a field trip to Publix, where campers tallied their total throughout their adventure, they were ready to set up shop. Just in time to catch the midday summer camp dismissal crowd, our budding entrepreneurs made a profit to support their next venture! We are looking forward to seeing what our Branches group will come up with this week...
