This week's **MAGICAL MOMENT** started with a simple game of pretend...
"Let's play school!"
That simple idea evolved throughout the week to a full blown subtraction lesson with manipulatives! This learning was all student-driven, leading to overwhelming engagement and joy. Even some older students decided to chime in with challenge questions at the end of the offerings.
It was quite a process to start with a game of pretend and then discuss, plan, try, fail and ultimately succeed with a lesson that took team work and patience to prepare. You know it works when they are asking to do it again next week. :) <3
