"There are worse things to do when you're in grade two than to spend your time building a dream."

- Andrea Beaty, Author of Iggy Peck, Architect

Our Architecture study really hit it's stride this week as learners began creating their own buildings and structures. The "Sapna Skyline" is beginning to take shape in the hallway outside our room, and we are looking forward to what additions this week brings.

It was fun to watch as cardboard boxes, string, ribbon, insulation, paper towel rolls, and bottle lids turned into palaces, high-rise apartment buildings, bakeries and skyscrapers right before our very eyes. This type of work took creativity and teamwork. Many learners had the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and take the lead, others simply decided they were ready to take a more active role and engaged their self-confidence.

Take a look at a few of the transformations throughout the week...
