Architecture Study
Our Architecture study continued to spark creativity and teamwork this week. One learner, inspired by the Gherkin building in London, created his own "pickle" building. Another, inspired by the Leaning Tower of Pisa, created the tallest structure in our skyline and was therefore named the "Burj Khalifa" of Sapna. After spray painting the tower silver, it really did start to resemble the world's tallest building. Also in the Sapna Skyline is a pickle factory, bakery, fairy house, and apartment building for cats, complete with rooftop restaurant and penthouse suite.
In addition to creating these amazing structures, the sapna storytellers recorded a podcast version of Iggy Peck, Architect by Andrea Beaty - definitely a huge inspiration for this architecture unit. Next month, we will transform from architects to scientists and meet a new friend - Ada Twist!
