Celebrating Diwali was a first for many learners. We are so grateful to have families in our community willing to share their traditions and culture, broadening our perspectives. It brought us great joy to walk around the table as kids and adults shared their own experiences with Diwali, teaching one another. Everyone at this event learned something new.
Thank you to everyone who made our Diwali celebration possible. It was a beautiful day full of light, goodness, hope, and play. Getting together and sharing these traditions helps us to better understand how we are all connected. We are looking forward to our next family tradition celebration.
