hard work + dedication
We could not be more proud of our Odyssey of the Mind teams that competed in the State Tournament in Orlando this past Saturday. They really had to put their creative minds to work overcoming adversity after each team had members that could not make the trip. Their hard work and dedication really showed at the competition, as they told their stories and put on their best performances to date!
For over a decade, we have wanted to coach a team for Odyssey. While overwhelming at times, coaching THREE teams was a dream come true. We were elated on Saturday to watch the kids perform, while seeing so many amazing props, costumes, and sets, and to just be a part of the whole event. So much creativity and imagination (not to mention engineering!) all in one place. We are grateful to all the families that made the trip and helped make the whole thing possible!

We are trying something a little different with our schedule to see if this allows students a little more freedom to make offerings at the center. The Set the Week below lists only the facilitator-led or already established offerings we have planned. We will allow kids to sign up to make offerings each day in various time slots, giving us a better idea of what activities they want to participate in at the center.
