STRAWBEES @ SAPNA
Dodecahedrons, retractable arms, snakes - we had so many different creations constructed with Strawbees this week at Sapna. These flexible, open-ended building tools allow kids to really get creative and solve problems in multiple ways. Strawbees made their debut at Sapna this summer at our creativity camp (see photos below). Kids went crazy, building small sculptures, then rollercoasters for ping pong balls and onto a fairly large Sierpinkski pyramid.
It was fun to watch as kids got out the box and started building, other students would see and began asking questions, then they started building. There were loose parts everywhere! But it was worth it to see the kids as they shared their various projects. We will be sure to have a few on display at the Fall Showcase this Friday evening. All Sapna family members and friends are welcome to attend. We hope to see you there!
