This week's **MAGICAL MOMENT** was a collaborative project by every learner at Sapna!

From start to finish, this "Gingerbread" Castle was been a team effort. When Corbin brought in the book, Boxitects, before Thanksgiving break and showed us the cardboard castle in the back, we all thought it was cool. When proceeded to construct it, complete with drawbridge (thanks to a little help from Hugh), we knew it was special. With the Gingerbread Competition at the link just a few weeks later, inspiration struck!
Once Jacob and his mom heard of our plans, they shared ideas from a similar project they completed last year. We held a few brainstorming sessions, shared our ideas, created a blueprint and got to work. Using a little holiday wrapping paper, lots bottle caps, cardboard pizza rounds, stickers, paint, cotton balls, and a few other fun treasures, the Gingerbread Castle was complete. We did a pretty good job matching the blueprint, including the candy cane arch above the door, lots of lollipops and even a dragon!
